Perth Enrichment Program for Older Adults enhances the lives of seniors, and adults with disabilities in a multitude of ways. We are only able to do so through the support of our funders and generous donations made by people like you.
There are several ways you can help:
GRANT SUPPORT

The United Way Lanark County for their support through a grant to PEP that allows us to offer our day program for seniors one day a week in Smiths Falls.
“One of United Way Lanark County’s priority goals – Successful Aging – is to help ensure seniors are able to stay in their homes and remain engaged in the community, while all caregivers feel supported,” notes Advisory Council Chair Helen McIntosh. “Programs like the one run by the Perth Enrichment Program for Older Adults helps those seniors in need within our community. The United Way is excited about the expansion of PEPOA’s programs from Perth to Smiths Falls, made possible with funds from our very generous donors. We look forward to seeing their new program succeed.”
The Perth & District Community Foundation (PDCF) for the grant allowing us to offer three different social events to give seniors in our community to socialize. Our first event was a St. Patrick’s Day Musical Evening with the Barley Shakers. A special thank you to the Perth Legion for supporting the event with the venue. The second event was a musical afternoon at Carolina Retirement Suites featuring Arlene Quinn. Our third event will be at Lanark Lodge in September. Participants that have attended have noted that they were still feeling the positive affects the next day! Thank you PDCF.
Donation Support

Thank you to our volunteer Connie Hansen for applying for a grant from CIBC in support of retired employees. We are very fortunate to have received a donation of $500.00 the last two years. Thank you CIBC and Connie!
Lioness Club of Perth
Thank you to the Lioness Club of PEP for their generous donation of $500.00 to PEP! We really appreciate all of the support that you are giving us.

Town & Country Chrysler has generously allowed PEP to use one of their vans since PEP opened. Many clients would not be able to attend the day program if they were not able to have the opportunity for transportation. Many thanks to Brad and this team at Town & Country Chrysler!

One Time Donations:
There are different opportunities to donate on a one time basis.
For example:
- One time financial donation
- Donations in memory of a loved one that has passed away
- For a birthday, anniversary or other special occassion
- In kind donation of goods and / or services. We are always looking for specific furniture or equipment
Consider Donating On An On-going Basis:
- A planned gift – Will, tangible assets, beneficiary of RRSP, RRIF or Life Insurance policy;
- Monthly or yearly giving
- Matching Gifts – Your company may be willing help! Ask if they would be willing to match your donation and double up the money given to our senior program
